Red Jasper is called the 'Stone of Endurance and Nurturing' as it feeds back to you, your own inner power that can sometimes get lost in the shuffle. It was also a favoured stone of warriors setting out into battle. According to Viking legend, Siegfried the Dragon Slayer had his magic swor inlaid with Red Jasper to give him the courage to destroy monsters. It is also said in the Bible, that this stone adorned the breastplate of Aaron, the first high priest. It was a stone of Isis and Amazon warriors. Native Americans also have a long history with Red Jasper, turning to it as a way to reignite health and to bring about rebirth.
