We were only able to aquire a small batch of these fabulous freeforms, but we felt so lucky to have been in the right place at the right time. Every one of them has entrancing Petrified Wood inclusions, and the pure uniqueness of each piece is not something we've seen often. We hope you love them as much as we do🩷

Green Agate is a type of silica mineral that is highly sought after for its vibrant colours. Its varying shades of green can appear almost translucent, like the depths of an enchanted forest, or deep and opaque. Throughout the ages, it's been used in jewellery, sculptures, and other decorative items. Ancient Egyptians used it to create statues and artwork, while Ancient Greeks believed it held magical powers, and even included it in their mythology. Associated with the Heart chakra, it promotes strong feelings of harmony, health and abundance, and its calming energy aids with emotional stability. The perfect stone to help soothe anxiety and reduce stress.

Petrified wood is a fossil. It forms when plant material is buried by sediment and protected from decay due to oxygen and organisms. Then, groundwater rich in dissolved solids flows through the sediment, replacing the original plant material with Silica, Calcite, Pyrite, or another inorganic material such as Opal. The result is a fossil of the original woody material that often exhibits preserved details of the bark, wood, and cellular structures. Some specimens of petrified wood are such accurate preservations that people do not realise they are fossils, until they pick them up and are shocked by their weight.
