Quite rare and often hard to come by, Grape Agate can only be found in a very small area of Indonesia, the Mamuju area of the western Sulawesi coast. The purple form, of what is also called Grape Amethyst, is the most common. It is said to shield you from negative energy and create a sense of security, especially in times of emotional stress. It allows you to connect to your spirituality and can inspire you to communicate with the positive energy of the Earth. Emitting a warm, protective energy, Grape Agate helps to guard your mind and emotions, and activates and links the Crown and Third Eye chakras, helping you to open up psychic abilities.
